Platinum Chunk is an ore tradeskill material and is used by architects, armorers, and weaponsmiths.
Source
Platinum Chunk is obtained through salvaging and the mining tradeskill and can be found in Farside and Whitevale. This ore can also be obtained from a Tier 2 or 3 Mineral Deposit.
